Bio: Shalanda is a native of Gary, Indiana and the youngest of seven children. She's been around hairstylists and barbers since childhood, also learning from some of the best entreprenuers in the industry. Shalanda is a hair care specialist and continues to work with all types of hair and ethnicities. Hair styling is like second nature to Shalanda; She is drawn to the artistry of design and is dubbed the "picaso of extensions". Shalanda's new book, "Love the Hair You're In!" was released in 2015.

Interests: This master stylist and Faire Belle extradordinaire is interested in beautifying things and people both authentically and cosmetically. Shalanda loves helping others build their self confidence and giving back to the community. Shalanda enjoys writing in her pastime and is extremely excited to be apart of the literary world. She also enjoys laughter, living her life free of drama.
